Confirmation of Citizenship Online (COCO)

The Confirmation of Citizenship Online (COCO) system allows individuals, employers, education providers and other organisations to check and confirm their Yugambeh citizenship status. The Yugambeh Nation is committed to strengthening our citizenship’s rights and connection to country and kin, and as we roll out further programs and services for our citizens, it may become more and more common for individual’s to be asked to confirm their First Nation Citizenship status. In the digital age, COCO also functions as a Confirmation of Aboriginality, as all Yugambeh Citizens are Aboriginal people.

COCO has been designed to be an easy, quick, and efficient way of confirming an individuals citizenship status with only the following information needed:

Forename, Middle Initial, Surname, & Year of Birth^

Disclaimer: The Yugambeh Nation has taken measures to assure that this combination of data is statistically improbably of resulting in a false-positive (i.e. a non-Yugambeh Citizen matching on COCO); based on this combination (Forename/Middle Initial/Surname/Birth Year) the probability of a false match occurring is roughly 1 in 2.17 trillion
